Star Wars is about to turn into a 9 episode movie-fest, and that means that there will be a ton of new games based on the sequels (and the time gaps thereafter). So before we cross that bridge, we would like to take a few moments to put out favorite Star Wars games into the spotlight.
Some of these entries may be old, but they are here for a reason: they really help bring the Star Wars experience to life! So if you are a die-hard SW fan and would like to immerse yourself in the SW universe, then interactivity is certainly the way to go (after you have watched all six movies of course).
The great thing about Star Wars is that despite having already six movies in the series, there is plenty of content that book authors, game developers, and other creators can work with. Force Unleashed is a side story that finds its place in between the gap of the prequel trilogy (after Revenge of the Sith), and the original trilogy (before A New Hope). With a script that was well researched (and with the blessing of George Lucas himself), this two part game unveils the story of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, and the eventual birth of the Rebel Alliance.
The game gives players the simplest instruction ever: find the hidden star on each stage. Sure, it is simple enough to follow. But that is not going to be as easy as you might think. It will require more than just finding that shape because it is hidden from sight in some of the most creative and amusing ways possible, making this game surprisingly fun and challenging!
